Virginia-Highland is nicknamed by locals “VaHi” or “ViHi.” The main intersection of Virginia Avenue and North Highland Avenue is a hustle and bustle commercial district and is at the heart of this neighborhood. This area is known for an eclectic mix of historical homes and bungalows built in the 1920′s and 1930′s.

This truly is one of the most popular neighborhoods in Atlanta.  There are cafes, shops and art galleries which line the streets.  Located on the Eastern edge of 189-acre Piedmont Park where you can attend a variety of events in addition to regular sunny outdoor recreation. Virginia-Highland was voted “Best Overall Neighborhood” in 2011 and “Best Walkable Neighborhood” in 2012.
